The Cooper Center for Healing
The Center for Healing is Cooper University Health Care’s division of Addiction Medicine, offering compassionate, evidence-based, and low-barrier addiction care for those across South Jersey struggling with substance use disorders. Through its various programs, the Center offers innovative care for special populations, such new or soon-to-be mothers, older adults, those in the carceral system, and others.
In a collaboration with the Rowan-Virtua NeuroMusculoskeletal Institute, the Center for Healing administers the Southern New Jersey Medications for Addiction Treatment Center of Excellence, a comprehensive resource for health care providers across South Jersey interested in providing excellent addiction care.
The Center for Healing provides a wide range of services, including:
Hospital inpatient consultation
- Outpatient substance use disorder consultation
- Program for pregnant or parenting individuals struggling with substance use
- Full coverage services for SUD and mental health for uninsured and underinsured people, including those who are unhoused
- Care coordination
- Peer recovery support

The Recovery Village Cherry Hill at Cooper
The Recovery Village Cherry Hill at Cooper delivers comprehensive addiction treatment services for adults struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. The facility offers a full continuum of care, including medical detox, residential services, and outpatient programs. Cooper Center for Healing physicians and advanced practice providers offer quality, evidence-based care, and education in the inpatient addiction treatment model.
The Recovery Village Cherry Hill at Cooper is conveniently located in the South Jersey community and just 20 minutes away from Philadelphia.
