About Me

Dr. Fuller is a graduate of Dartmouth College (AB, Engineering) and the University of Pennsylvania (MD). He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Case Western Reserve University. He completed three fellowships: Allen Research Fellow (Case Western Reserve University),  Hand & Microvascular Surgery (Thomas Jefferson University); Neuro-Orthopaedics (Albert Einstein Medical Center). He joined Cooper in 2002 and has served as Residency Program Director and Director of the Integrated Hand Program. He helped author the SMS Course at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University and has served as a course Director. He is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and has been prolific academically with numerous publications and presentations to his credit and continues scholarly pursuits currently with ongoing grant funded research. His current research interests include peripheral nerve injury and repair, orthopaedic trauma and graduate medical education. He has also led both regional and national orthopaedic organizations including serving as President for the Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Association.

About Me

Brian P. Gable, MD, FACP, currently serves the Division Head of Medical Education and the Internal Medicine Clerkship Director at the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU). In addition to these roles, Dr. Gable also serves as the Chief of Medical Education in the Department of Medicine and was previously the Associate Director for the Foundations in Medical Practice Course at CMSRU. He previously served as the Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency.

Dr. Gable received his medical degree from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where he was elected into both the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) and Gold Humanism Honor (GHHS) societies. Dr. Gable remained at Robert Wood Johnson for his residency training in internal medicine and subsequently served as chief resident of the program.

Prior to joining the Cooper Family, Dr. Gable served as Associate Program Director of the Robert Wood Johnson Internal Medicine Residency Program in New Brunswick, NJ where he was integral in the development and implementation of the educational program and assisted in the administrative oversight of the residency. During this time, he was also actively involved in undergraduate medical education by assisting with the third-year clerkship, acting as the director of the fourth-year subinternship, participating in the physical diagnosis and Patient-Centered Medicine courses, and serving as the Associate Director of the second-year Pathophysiology course. Dr. Gable also served as the Chapter Adviser of the Gold Humanism Honor Society at Robert Wood Johnson and co-authored the article "Humanism at Heart: Preserving Empathy in Third-Year Medical Students.”

Dr. Gable is passionate about medical education. He has taught and mentored countless medical students and residents throughout the continuum of medical education. His interests include teaching clinical skills, facilitating the development of strong clinical reasoning skills, promoting humanism and professionalism during patient encounters, employing innovative pedagogical techniques, and teaching at the bedside. 

Dr. Gable has received 23 teaching awards from residents and students in his young career, including the Foundation of UMDNJ Excellence in Teaching Award in 2011 and the prestigious CMSRU Phase II Excellence in Teaching Award in both 2016 and 2019. In addition, Dr. Gable was also inducted into CMSRU’s Academy of Master Medical Educators at the level of Master Educator in 2015 and has received the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award from the CMSRU chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society which recognizes one faculty member annually who “demonstrates both clinical excellence and outstanding compassion in the delivery of care and who shows respect for patients, their families, and healthcare colleagues.”

About Me

Dr. Michael Gallagher grew up in suburban Philadelphia and studied mechanical engineering at Drexel University. After a short career as an engineer, he decided to pursue medicine at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City. He then completed his Neurology residency at Cooper University Hospital and fellowship in neuromuscular diseases and electromyography at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, kayaking, and hockey.

About Me

Dr. Ganguly grew up in New Jersey and completed his seven-year BA/MD program with Rutgers University and New Jersey Medical School. He then performed his anesthesiology residency at Stanford University.

As much as he loved the West Coast, the yearning for home led him to return to New York City for a fellowship at the Tri Institute Pain Fellowship with Cornell NYP, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer, and Hospital for Special Surgery. He has joined the Department of Anesthesiology at Cooper as an anesthesia and pain management specialist and could not be happier to be back home.

In his free time, Dr. Ganguly enjoys being a husband, a father, traveling, and reading nonfiction.
