About Me

Dena Little, DO returns to Cooper to join the Neurology Department as a Vascular Neurology Attending. She is a southern NJ native. She earned a BA in Neuroscience from Drew University and earned her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a preliminary medicine internship at Christiana Care in Delaware, prior to completing her neurology residency here at Cooper University where she served as chief resident her final year. She then completed a vascular neurology fellowship at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.

Although Dr. Little has a particular liking for vascular neurology and the inpatient setting, she loves all facets of neurology and believes in being a well-rounded physician and neurologist. She is also establishing an outpatient practice with a focus on caring for patients with stroke and headache. She has a passion for educating the next generation and thoroughly enjoys working with residents and medical students. She believes that communication is a key part of being a successful physician and forming a trustworthy relationship with her patients.

In her spare time, Dr. Little enjoys spending time with her dog as well as family and friends.
