About Me

Cori E. McMahon, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in health psychology who has 20 years’ experience in direct clinical care, graduate psychology and medical instruction, clinical supervision, and program administration across behavioral health, academic, and medical settings. She has served as Director of Behavioral Medicine within Cooper University Healthcare system since 2009; focusing her clinical work in chronic disease management and overseeing a Behavioral Medicine training program that has served MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper, EIP/Department of Infectious Disease, Ob-Gyn, Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery, and inpatient C&L service. She holds a faculty position with Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, instructing medical students who rotate with the Behavioral Medicine team and has taught psychology courses at La Salle University since 2002, including serving as visiting faculty for LaSalle’s graduate psychology programs in Athens, Greece and Prague, Czech Republic.

Dr. McMahon has a record of health psychology research, publication, and presentations, particularly in the area of psycho oncology, and remains engaged in projects focused on integrated behavioral healthcare in medical settings, and the use of digital tools to enhance patient engagement, health literacy, and improved doctor-patient communication. She is a member of the Society of Behavioral Medicine, is a National Certified Custody Evaluator, and also serves as VP of Clinical Services for Tridiuum, Inc., a health technology company based in Philadelphia.

About Me

Dr. Mele grew up in New York City and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Scranton. She attended medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA, and completed a OB-GYN residency in the University of Pennsylvania Health System at Pennsylvania Hospital.

After a successful career as an obstetrician gynecologist Dr. Mele wanted to expand her knowledge and completed a second residency in Anesthesiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

At Cooper, she is the Director of Obstetric Anesthesia and is dually boarded in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Anesthesiology.​ She is a key member of the departmental Quality and Safety Division. In her free time she enjoys reading, rare quiet moments and spending time with her family.

About Me

Jenny Melli, MD, is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU). She graduated from Villanova University and went on to receive her MD from UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson, Camden. She completed medical internship and residency in Primary Care Internal Medicine at Brown University, where she developed a special interest in women’s health, providing primary care services for women in the state prison.

Dr. Melli is involved in clinical teaching on the medical student and residency level. She is the Program Director for the Primary Care Track and Associate Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Training Program, and directs the outpatient continuity care experience for the residency program. She precepts trainees in their outpatient clinic and maintains her own practice at that site. Dr. Melli also serves as the Deputy Clerkship Director for the Adult Primary Care clerkship at CMSRU. She has special interests in trainee health, mental health in primary care, and care of the underserved.
