About Me
Christopher Milburn, MD is a psychiatrist practicing addiction medicine. He completed his undergraduate medical education at Jefferson Medical College, now the Sidney Kimmel Medical College, and his psychiatry residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital at Jefferson Health. He always had a strong interest in addiction medicine and after completing his residency, worked as an attending at Jefferson Health in their methadone maintenance treatment (MMT) clinic. While at Jefferson, he was also the director of their psychiatric inpatient unit which worked closely with the obstetrics department to specialize in the treatment and management of pregnant patients with co-occurring substance use disorder (SUD) and mental health diagnoses.
Following his work at Jefferson Health, Dr. Milburn worked at Christiana Hospital, where he launched an outpatient buprenorphine program, also with focus on the management of opioid use disorder (OUD) in pregnant patients. Further he participated in the development of an opioid treatment protocol for patients with co-occurring disorders. Following his time at Christiana Hospital, he worked at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, expanding their outpatient buprenorphine program, assisting in the opening of a new inpatient detoxification and rehab unit as well as their MMT program. Dr. Milburn is now Association Program Director for the Cooper University Health Care Addiction Medicine Fellowship, an Attending Physician at the Cooper University Health Care Center for Healing, and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU).

About Me
Lawrence S. Miller, MD is Chairman Emeritus, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Cooper University Hospital, Senior Orthopaedic Advisor of Cooper Bone and Joint Institute, and Director, Sports Medicine.
He graduated from Haverford College in 1975 and then attended Jefferson Medical College, graduating in 1979. After his internship at The Bryn Mawr Hospital, he returned to Jefferson University Hospital, completing his orthopaedic residency in 1984. Dr. Miller then attended the world-renowned Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles for his sports medicine fellowship training from 1984 to1985. He joined the medical staff at Cooper University Hospital in 2002.
Over the past 25 years, Dr. Miller has developed one of the region's leading sports medicine practices, specializing in the treatment of injuries to the shoulder, elbow and knee. Dr. Miller was team physician with the Philadelphia Wings Lacrosse Team for over 25 years. As a faculty member and clinical assistant professor, Dr. Miller has been instrumentally involved in the training and education of orthopaedic residents and sports medicine fellows.
Dr. Miller is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a member of many medical societies, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Society for Sports Medicine, the American Academy of Sports Physicians, and the Arthroscopy Society of North America.
Dr. Miller specializes in the management and treatment of shoulder injuries, shoulder instability and shoulder replacement, as well as cartilage restoration, meniscal transplantation, meniscal repair and meniscectomy. He has been recognized on numerous occasions as a “Top Doc” by Philadelphia magazine, South Jersey Magazine, SJ Magazine and NJ Magazine. He has also received many other recognitions, including induction into the American Orthopaedic Academy.

About Me
Dr. Mitrev obtained his medical degree from the University of Oslo in Norway. From 1997-1999, he completed mandatory house officer assignments in surgery, medicine, and family practice in Norway, where, among other places, he was a family physician on a small island archipelago in the North Sea.
In 2000, Dr. Mitrev was an internal medicine intern at Yale-St. Raphael hospital, after which he completed residency and a cardiac anesthesia fellowship at St.Luke’s-Roosevelt and Columbia-Presbyterian in New York City.
After four years in private practice, Dr. Mitrev joined Cooper in 2009. His interests include cardiac anesthesia, TEE and hemodynamic monitoring, as well as healthcare leadership and the business of medicine. Dr. Mitrev currently serves as Division Chief for research at the Department of Anesthesiology, and is group leader for Scholars’ Workshop at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. He is Chair of the Member Engagement Committee of the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists. In his free time, he enjoys literature, music, travel and spending time with his family.

About Me
Dr. Montella is currently the Chief Medical Officer at Cooper University Health Care. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College then completed a residency in OB-GYN at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, and a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California, Irvine. He earned a Master of Science degree in Healthcare Quality and Safety from the Jefferson College of Population Health and is a Certified Physician Executive through the Certifying Commission of Medical Management. He is also a TeamSTEPPS Master Trainer in patient safety. Dr. Montella is Board Certified in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and has practiced this specialty for more than 26 years. He was former Chair of the Department of OB-GYN at Jefferson Medical College, served as President of the American Urogynecologic Society, and has participated in NIH study sections and grant reviews for the Pelvic Floor Disorders Network. He has presented his scientific work at TeamSTEPPS National Conferences and AUGS Annual Scientific Meetings and has published his research in the American Journal of Medical Quality, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and The Journal of Female Pelvic Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Montella is the executive physician lead on the Quality and Patient Safety Pillar for the organization and has designed a method for incentivizing physicians for meeting quality metrics. He has played an integral role in helping physician leadership craft individualized quality measures for their groups that align with organization goals in order to improve value while maximizing reimbursement and reducing cost.
