Cooper University Health Care’s mission is "To serve, to heal, to educate." Cooper’s mission does not contemplate nor allow for discrimination or inequality in its practice. Our GME Diversity Council supports, fosters, and promotes an environment where all members of its academic community may thrive and succeed, regardless of race, creed, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, or age.
This year, ACAPS is strongly encouraging all programs to use the Plastic Surgery Common Application (PSCA) for integrated residency applications. The PSCA is a free, plastic surgery specific application crafted to both improve the residency application process and to decrease financial barriers to students. Although some plastic surgery programs still accept ERAS, our program is only using the PSCA. You may use this link to access the PSCA: https://psca.accessgme.com/
Upon accessing the application, you will be instructed to create a secure account and will be able to request letters of recommendation, transcripts, and MSPE (Dean's letters) directly through the application portal. As in years prior, the match will remain with the National Residency Matching Program (NMRP). Please direct any questions about the application to PSCA@accessgme.com
The Program Director and faculty members will review applicant files. Invitations for interview will be based upon their recommendations.
The interview season for Academic Year 23-24 has now concluded.
Program Eligibility
Eligibility for the Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency Program requires graduation from an accredited medical school. Individuals accepted for a position in the program must be U.S. citizens, classified as a resident alien, or hold a J-1 visa.
Rotations at Cooper
Fourth year medical students from medical schools other than Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) are welcome to rotate at Cooper for four-week rotations. If interested, please apply through CMSRU by clicking here.
